Hi everyone...Ummm, I guess it's great to be one of the newest members of...duh duh duh duuuhhh...AcmeLove. :p And...I guess this is where I tell everyone a little about myself. Well, I'm an 18 year-old female from North Carolina, who finally lives out from underneath her parents' roof. I have a great job working at a ski resort (which is the same place where I live). But unfortunetaly I seem to have a problem with the opposite sex...or at least one guy inparticular. I'm kinda hoping someone can help me with that issue. He's a big mystery to me...one that I'd like to figure out. So neway, I'm really into all different kinds of sports, shopping, art, and music. I don't want this to turn into a short length novel or nething, so I'm gonna hit the road. Can't wait to talk to you all.

Allo! Welcome to acmelove.

Is your problem with your guy solved? :)

I'm afraid that problem is far from over...but I've realized that this isn't my problem...it's his. He's been hurt before and he's really scared about going into the next relationship. The only problem is that I really like him, and I KNOW that he likes me too...even though he says he just wants me to be a good friend. I can see it in the sweet way that he treats me that he genuinely cares for me. I'm just having trouble being patient enough to wait for him to be ready. Patience is not one of my stronger virtues. And one other thing that makes this truelly hard is the fact that we live right across the hall from eachother. So we see eachother constintly and spent tons of time together. I'm starting to wonder if maybe I should start looking for another pad.
:bawling: Any suggestions anyone?

I'd say take it slow and do the Friend thing before going into the Relationship thing. This way you can be supportive and all that, and hang out with him, without getting him uncomfortable with that whole dating-and-we're-going-steady kind of atmosphere. Kepe it casual, and it should be at least a little better for him.
