if both of you are not married yet, you can use phrases like..."dear, next time when we are married shall we do this....do that..." tell him what you think, tell him what you want or want to do when you are married. Things like decorating for the house, how you want to spend the time with your kids, how you want your married life with him to be. This shows that you want to share your life and build a family with him.

Yep... Byron has quite a few good suggestions.

For me it's the small things and small reassurances that make the differences.

Touches here, glances there. Little signals or phrases that are known only to the two of you.

Letters are nice too (I'm way too wordy to do this, turns into a novel, but it's nice to get)

i think the best way to show anyone that you love them is to just say it..i can never get enough of my boyfriend's "I Love You"'s..they make my day so much better...also you should try doing unexpected things for him/her to show them that they are always on your mind...whether it's cooking if you barely cook, or calling them at random times, or just being there when they need you...
