New here, and confused!

I just wanted to introduce myself and share my dilemma with the board. My name is Natalie, and I am a junior at UCSB. I have this guy friend, and we are pretty close. We spend a lot of time together, and I spend the night at his place at least once a week, sharing his twin bed. However, I feel like he is sending me mixed messages. For instance, sometimes he will begin touching me sexually, and kiss me, but then when things start to go further, he stops it and says he does not want to complicate things. Furthermore, he never takes any pleasure for himself. He won't let me do anything to him, he just wants to please me. This totally boggles my mind! Then, when I ask if he would be comfortable if I didn't share the bed with him, so as to not complicate things, he said no, I like it when you stay. What is his deal? If I ask him about it, he says, he just doesn't want to complicate things, because, "we're buddies." But then why does he kiss me? Any advice is greatly appreciated. I really need insight from someone else because I am totally baffled. Thanks!

How long have you been with him?
Maybe he is feeling really deep feelings about you and that is what he means by messing it up. Or maybe he is nervous about his feelings for you and feels taking it a step further would only complicate it more.
Maybe he has a problem "down there"? Could be lots of reasons.

I have been friends with him, for about 3 months now, a little more. I honestly have no idea what his problem is. Thanks for your reply, it gave me some perspective. I am spending the night at his room probably, so, Ill let you guys know! Thanks! -Natalie
