I thought it would be nice to introduce myself before selfishly asking questions. I am 21 and have never been in a relationship or really had a serious girlfriend. I am your basic loser type. I would be grateful if everyone could provide me with some helpful information I could put to use. I am very quiet and when I talk to someone in person I think I just can't think of anything to say.

Now to get straight down to business!

You know guys, it's really not as bad as all that. At your ages, it's nothing to be concerned about. Just concentrate on enjoying yourselves, without getting so rapped up in trying to meet someone. In time you'll meet people who you do feel comfortable around, and who you can talk to easily. Somehow all of a sudden everything will fall in to place, and you'll wonder why you were making such a big deal out of it in the first place. And remember, just because you aren't (or weren't) the cool jock type in high school that girls tripped head-over-heels for, it doesn't make you a loser. Keep a positive attitude towards all things, and you'll find someone eventually -- but only if they don't find you first!
