I think I'm in over my head!

Well, my girlfriend of 2 years and i broke up about 3 months ago...in the past week I've given my number to one girl and tonight i got a girls number and another one apparently wanted to take me home...i don't know how to handle all of this, i've never been in this situation before. Could someone give me some advice, i'm not looking for anything longterm but i don't know how to tell someone that.

OK, I've talked to both of these girls and I definitely like one better than the other (we just have a lot common). So how do I go about telling the other girl that I only want to be friends w/o sounding like a complete jerk.
