What went wrong?

I haven´t seen the guy I like for a long time. A couple of months ago he gave me his phone number, and told me that If I ever need something that I should give him a call. That same day I invited him to a concert and he first said yes and then he call me the next day to say" I can´t go to the concert with you because something came up I´m really sorry". He didn´t call me after that, and I didn´t call him since that day. The last time I talked to him I was very mad at him because of that, but he was very nice to me, smiled and hugged me like he used to do, but I wasn´t very nice with him. My friends told me yesterday me that I should call him just to say hi, but I don´t think that would be a good idea, because if he was interested in me he would have called me a long time ago, the last time we talked was about 3 months ago. What did I do wrong? Whay did he said yes then no? What can I do to forget about him? Should I forget about him? Maybe it´s time to move on. Any advice on this?

I don't think it would do any harm to call and say hi. Who knows, he may feel bad about not going too and is stuck exactly where you are...after the last time you saw him and you weren't very nice maybe he thought you didn't want to hear from him and that's why he hasn't called.
