I previous posted in a thread titled 'is my co-worker flirting with me'. not too much has changed, still really good friends with this co-worker. we exchanged an email the other day that kind of threw me for a loop, here is some of the highlights:
she wrote:
You kind of act funny like you want to tell me something.....any
more pigeon stories or what? (it's a long story.....)
I wrote:
nope and believe me you'll be the last person i tell - so you
think i act funny huh??
then I wrote:
oh there's lots of crap i'd love to tell you :-P j/k
then she wrote:
WHAT??
I wrote:
oh like you're a dork, you know stuff like that 8-)

she wrote:
what are you talking about....
so now i don't know what to do from here. did i freak her out or something? is she on to me and trying to call my bluff? and what would be a good reply to this email, something that:
1. if she is into me and is trying to feel out how i feel, she will pick up on and figure out, BUT...
2. if she is not into me, she could interpret another way, something more innocent, so i don't scare her off
or is email a mistake, too easy to be misunderstood?? i just don't know if i'm ready to make the leap to opening anything up in person - i just don't want to ruin the friendship if there's nothing there
thanks
