Should I give up on him or not?

I'm about to give up on this guy that i've liked about 2 years and few months.. I really like him but i guess i don't know if there's going to be a chance for us. He knows that i like him but he always asked me who i like. and idk if he's expecting an answer from me that i like him but he always asked me that. we have flowers that we deliever.. and he always asked me if i'm going to send him one.. recently, he was trying or was avoiding me. he wouldn't make an eye contact with me.. but sometime he would just make me laugh and i'm really confused if he's just being a nice guy or something else. at the basketball game he was trying to avoid the eye contact with me. idk if i should give up on him or not...

give up on him romantically, get to know him more as a friend and show him the nice person you are...that way you'll get over the attraction level and be able to like him on a more intimate level you know? this will bring you two closer

Same thing she said....but not an intimate level. I would rather say "personal"- as in a friend.
