Well I don't think she is hiding her boyfriend to you, I just believe that she is being friendly and like you guys don't have a strong confident type of relationship yet, she is not gonna be telling you all about her love life right? Maybe she is just acting friendy with you and you are misunderstand her hints. You did wrong in telling her your father is a carpenter because when she finds out that, that isn't true she is gonna think you are a liar. You should just ask her " hey do you have a boyfriend? "
