View Full Version : Why Be Romantic?

1. Romance is a state of being. It's about taking action on your feelings. It's a recognition that Love in the abstract has no real meaning at all.
2. Romance-love in action-is a daily, living, growing activity.
3. Romance often starts as a 'state of mind' but it must move beyond mere thoughts and intensions and be communicated to your lover...through words, actions, gifts, gestures, or just a tender look.

If that's your idea of romance you'll probably live a long and lonely life and pint is the only thing you'll ever get to stick your tongue in!

It seems a bit neolithic but if it works for you and the women you're offering this service to are OK with it, fine, I don't think many women would find it romantic!

Well if the above scenarios are anything to go by then no wonder you’re in a dark room with just Kangaroos for company! (as per your other threads)

This kind of thing is ok if you just want one-night-stands, however if you require a “ proper relationship”, then you have a lot to learn about romancing a woman, because this certainly isn’t my idea of romance.

Artifact is right - you’ll just end up sad and very lonely. However, if you not “into” the serious relationship thing - then who are we to judge the way you continue with this kind of courtship.
