Do guys really daydream about the girl they like?

I've always wondered about this...

when a girl likes a guy, she wil think about him not only when she goes to bed but also every 15 mins that she's awake. I've read in some posts things like that when a guy really likes a girl she's what he thinks of before going to sleep. But, somehow i can't imagine a guy really being all daydreamy about a girl...

guys, i'd love to hear any cute/silly daydreams you've had about a girl.

lol, well yes i do day dream all the time about the girl i love but i dont just think about what is happening between me and her but i think about what i am going to say or do next to her. I think alot about my love mainly when i go to bed but also if i am by myself or if some one is talking about something realy boaring and also when i am looking at her from a distance i think about her, i just got to make sure i dont end up staring at her and she looks at me. lol, but yes i am always thinking about the girl i love and im sure girls do the same.

Well, i know i certainly do. :)
It can be at any time of day, particulary if i`m not doing anything or if my mind start drifting. It can be anything from a quick thought to an elaborate dream, if the latter it often involves what to say or do next time i meet her or in a particular situation that involves her.

Also hearing her name, passing a place i associate with her in some way, sometimes also if i see or meet someone she knows etc. usually makes her pop up in my thoughts.

Hmm I dont daydream I fantasize. Big difference. If you want to know what about I can tell you, its not always about sex as many people think the word fantasizing means sex. Hmm that might not make sense but oh well hehe

Yeah.. I day dream and fantazie all the time. It's always only girls I really like that I think about. I dont dream of having sex with those good looking girls.. I just.. Fantisize about cuddling with those awesome girls that like, are nice and kind and good freinds with me.. and I love so much.. :lips: But.... Like i said.. only freinds.. I am jsut too pathetic to actually get a girl.. so My case may be different from the rest.. Like when I see them, I imagine me walking over to them, and huging them, and Making out with them, and just holding them in my arms... :apart: But, When Im like, at home or not in the same room as them, I try to practice almost what I will say to them next time i see them.. I dont want to get anything wrong :P But, I'm too nice, too freindly, too shy, and too much against being cocky and funny to get a girl, so I will be alone, with jsut these day dreams, for years to come :bawling: *sigh* Oh well. Thats prob why they are on my mind all the time.... cause, literally, the only time I can be with someone, is in my dreams..... :blush:

My reply would have been almost identical to yours.

What i can say is about the latter half is, even if you're shy and nice, have some faith (like i'm trying to do) and maybe try and do something, weigh up options and something will happen if you do it.

Be bold. Positivity also helps

Just to add to the original question with me, once i start thinking about this girl, i don't stop, until someone or something stops me.

Sometimes i think will someone who is so caring and gentle and rational and with a beautiful nature and positive aura end up with me me like the girl i think of...

Shes the first thing i think about when I wake up and the last thing i think about before i go to sleep. and im thinking about her every second in between that im not with her. normally ill wake up and get excited thinking about the next time ill see her or talk to her and i think about what im gonna say to her. Thinking about a girl you like is sometimes very fun. You sort of go into this perfect world created by you and you make the rules in this world and she is in it. I sometimes feel that after I daydream about a girl I like it makes me like the girl more. So my answer is yes, guys daydream about girls. And if they tell you in your face that they dont, then forgive them there just being guys and were always trying to be tough.

i dream of my gf Amie ALL the time, we have been together 13months on Feb 1st and theres not a day gone past we havent spoke or txt or emailed each other and we see each other almost EVERY day! We met on the net and everynight i used to look up at the stars, holding a little charm that says "i wish" on it and i used to wish for her, then one day she asked to meet up and my wish came true! i gave her the charm i used to wish for her with and told her what i used to do! I think about her when I'm at work, even when I can't see her, I think about her, and wonder what to say, the next time I see her. I plot everything out in my head, but it never goes like I thought it out. Normally it goes better. When I go to bed, I think about holding her, not having sex. When I wake up in the morning, I can't wait for work, just so that I can chat to her (be it over the internet, cause we work at different places) , it's what makes me get up in the morning

Oh yeah, I do it ALL the time. It's worse when you are in love with someone that is 5,000 miles away from you...I always think about what it would be like to be with her and to hold her. It is like someone else said earlier in the thread...you make a dream world where the two of you can be together and all of life is perfect. that is how I am anyways...

I day dream about my love all the time. I just picture her in my head. When I'm bored in class I just put my head down, close my eyes and away I go. I think about her all the time. Some times I even try drawing her on paper. Once it actually looked a little like her.

Yeah. It happens occassionally to me. When it does, its a sick, twisted obssession I tell you. The more you think of her the more you get hooked. Im currently trying to stomp out the latest girl whos been running around in my head. I can't stop thinking about what she might be doing, thinking, etc. Never really fantasize about anything sexual, though. It's lame if you ask me.
