But the thing is first of all we're of different religions and second its a long distance relationship.

The net has reshaped dating and distance isn't that big a deal anymore. It takes more trust but that isn't so hard. As far as your religions go, it shouldn't matter unless one of you has to be burned at the stake. I don't like labels and I don't like religious people that think" I'm going to hell "if I don't believe like they do. Those self rightious, can do no wrong, jerks you know. I feel sure that you wouldn't fall in love with someone like that so see my point? Go for it smiles

i see nothing wrong with the difference of religion. as far as the long distance dating goes, well i'd say go for it as well. my brother is involved in a long distance relationship and couldn't be happier. i do know that he deeply misses her and wants her next to him but they talk everysingle night for hours at a time. so if you guys have trust in each other i don't see why you shouldn't try it.

I think your religion plays a very important part in the person you date. An Evangelical Christian probably would not get along well with a Fundamentalist Muslim.

Religion is about your belief in the world. I think that it is a fundemental part of who we are, whether we are liberal, conservative, agnostic or atheist, we still all have beliefs. I personaly think it would be very difficult to spend the rest of my life with someone who didn't have a close approximation of what I believed in.

Can cross religion relationships not work? Of course not. But it is going to take a great deal of work and understanding to make those relationships flower.
