my first date...goes wrong :(

well 2day i was going to be so happy...i was going on my first date...being 18 years old...and finally going on my first date would be great...so i ask this girl out prior to 2day...and we decided we'd go watch a movie...well i gave her my number and she said she'd call me...so the next day i'm waiting there at the mall...for 1 hour and 30 minutes...i got no call...and waited there like an idiot...i really just feel like giving up...i had the balls to ask a girl out for the first time...i didn't even get rejected...i usually get rejected w/o even asking the girl out...cuz she eventually finds out dat i like her...and she breaks it down to me...and tells me i'm nice blah blah balh..and it won't work out...but dat was in my grade 8/9 days lol...but now it was my big break...so i just sat there watching the other couples enjoy each other's company...

Hey! Don't worry. you are very young and will have plenty of time to date people. I don't know who this girl is but she sounds like a very inconsiderate person to have stood you up. You don't want to be with someone like that, do you? I'm sure you can do better...good job for asking her out though. Keepa smilin'

Girls like her give our gender a bad name....She should have just said no in the first place but to play with someone's feelings is inexcusable.

If I were you I'd give her the cold shoulder and never talk to her again.

But Cassie is right...you have plenty of time, don't let this discourage you overly much, some girls are just immature.
