Friends but not lets just be friends

Does anyone have any stories of being friends before dating someone and falling in love with them etc? I have this girl now whom I'm interested in and we sometimes go out but she has a b/f. We really just enjoy each others company and have a good time when we go out. I would really like to date her. I have heard that the best relationships start as good friendships.

happened to me before. most of the time...if you've been friends with a girl for a long time (this comes from experience), and you ask them out, and they say yes....chances are, she will want it to go back to the way it was. either it's just too awkward being such good friends for a long time, and then switching over to a completely new level, just sometimes isn't what a girl wants.
