What do girls do?

I know some posts similar have been posted, but what do girls do to try to get guy's attention or getting guy's to notice them without actually going up to talk to them. There is this girl that has never come up to talk to me and only says something to me when I ask her something, but it seems like she is trying to get my attention.

I usually make alot of eye contact if I'm interested.

If she only talks to you when you ask her something, it proably just means she is too shy to do anything else for the moment. She is proably happy that your trying to make conversation with her, just give her time and she'll open up.

If you're interested, start a conversation. Hopefully it will be obvious whether they're also interested or not. Don't worry about the signals they're sending- just go for it.

At the very least she'll be flattered, and you'll either make a new friend or realize she's not what you're looking for.

Well I can try to help a little. I'm horrible with guys, very horrible. I'm going out on my first date tonight tho! :D I can tell you what I did to my current boyfriend. First of all I teased him - a lot. What finally got him to kiss me was I told him I think he's gay and he has to prove to me that he's not. Then my friend... LoL I can't believe she did this... told him that all he has to do to prove that he's not gay is to kiss me. So teasing is very high on the list. If I was talking to my friends and I saw him I'd zone out of the conversation with my friends just to look into his eyes for a second and smile. If I was goofing off with someone and they started to chase me I'd hide behind him. I always found some reason to be close to him, and gave him a hug before I left for my class. Just watch for little things that girls do to go out of their way to be near you.

Well...LoL...what I do is I usually make eye contact and make it seem like I'm really interested in what they're saying ~even if I'm not LoL jj~ I notice that I tend to sit up straighter...I have no idea why...:p [COLOR=orange]

Thanks a lot for the responses. I have talked to her a little, but she seems pretty shy whenever we talk even though I don't think she usually is.

She seems to appear around me a lot and a couple times when I've been talking to someone she knows, she came up to that person and asks them something, but doesn't say anything to me until I say something to her and she also leaves after only a couple minutes. Also a couple times when I was in the halls talking, she has bumped into me as she walked by, but she didn't say anything. I know I am starting to over-analyze it, but it's hard for me get signals when talking to her, because I am focusing on the conversation, because that usually doesn't come naturally for me.

It seems to me that she wants me to come up and talk to her, but the one thing that makes me think otherwise is that she never initiates any conversation and doesn't extend the conversation by asking any questions. She just sort of answers questions that I ask her then the conversation dies and she leaves. I know I am thinking too much about this, but I want to know if she is interested in me or not.

I know it's hard to say, because you don't know the whole situation, but does it sound like something that a girl who is shy around guys she likes might act? Any opinions at all are welcome.

my eyes wonder all around until i find him, then once i do, i act like i am sooooooo busy, and i find every reason under the sun to walk by him..lol....thats probly why i cant get a date!
