That's the mindset that the nuns beat into me at a devilish age, and those Parochial lessons in self-depreciation are hard ones to shake. However, the most important lessons that I took from a Catholic elementary and jr high educational system were these:
1. Girls NEVER EVER think about sex!
2. Girls are REPULSED by anything remotely related to sex.
3. Girls are REPULSED by people who even think about anything remotely related to sex, and
4. Girls can READ YOUR MIND.
When I entered the public school system in high school, I still adhered to those four basic doctrines of faith in interacting with women (which meant I did everything short of wearing a huge sign with the words "UNCLEAN"). Realizing that any decent God-fearing woman could not help but LOATHE and DESPISE me, I resigned myself to only talk to heathen high school girls with bad reputations.
And that, my friends, has made all the difference.:devil:
