Need a guys point of view

Well this guy I like flirts with me a lot, and all that. But hasn't asked me out yet. How come? I know he likes me because he'll always find ways to be around me and talk to just me when I'm with friends. And he bought me candy today hehe, it was soooo sweet, it's the kinda candy that's in those little things for kids that have balls, and little toys in it. But why's he taking so long to ask me out? Could it be that he's shy? Or that he's waiting for me to make the move? Maybe I'm just too impaitent lol.

Maybe he's just one of those types that doesn't ask girls out at all (like me) :)

He's probably using the friends thing to get closer to you--a friend is halfway to a love, after all. Don't worry, you two will probably get closer and closer as time goes by--if you really want to go on a date with him, ask him first! "Do you wanna go have lunch/dinner together sometime? You can come over to my place, my mom's cooking is real good" kind of thing can be sufficient if need be.
