Need help getting this girl to go out with me

There is this girl I like at work, and I would really like to go out on a date with her. I actually asked her out about a month ago, and she said that she couldn't date. She clarified a few days later that she has agreed with her mom to get to know anyone she is considering dating really well before going out on a date, to keep her from having her heart broken too many times. I have remained good friends with her this past month at work, but she is a wonderful person and I would still would like to date her.

How do I let her know that I am still interested? Should I ask her out again? When my non-work friends get together, should I invite her along? :confused: Please help!

Best advice i can give ya is to do exactly what she said you could do to date her--get to know her *really* well. After all, it's said that the best couples are best friends.
