I met this man online several months ago. We talked casually online until about a month and a half ago. We then began talking on a more personal level. After a few conversations I became very interested. He seems to be the right one for me. He is sentimental, very driven and humourous. Our conversations have been intellectually stimulating. We shared our dreams, view of life and hopes.

Last night we were talking about our feelings and he told me he was falling in love with me. My heart was pounding so hard it felt like it was going to jump out of my chest. I feel as though this is really love but it just doesn't seem possible. I think about him often, I fantasize about him, I am so happy when I am talking to him, I miss him when i'm not talking to him.

Could I be in love with somone I've never actually met???

You sound like you are very much in love though.
Meet up with him and see if the relationship can carry on.

Just in case, he really looks so ugly that he disgusts you, then you can drop him. Spare yourself from that torture.

Best of Love Luck.

Be careful if you wish to meet him up.
How about telling him to hold a flower and wait at your designated place. Then you can check from afar corner whether he's ugly or handsome.
If he's handsome, approach to meet him and chat with him to make sure he's the guy you chat online in case he is a subsitute.
Don't go with him to lonely places as you are not familiar with him(stranger).
Wish you good luck.

That is how I met one of my friends. We haven't actually met yet as I am in London and he is in New York, but we've sent each other pics and whatnot. If you really like the guy, meet him. But do beware he is a middle aged man who is old enough to be your dad. Good Luck:teleport: Anger is just one letter away from Danger

Okay, so I got bored, and decided to come back here and look at some of the new threads...

Anyway, I met my girlfriend online way back in November. I live in Edmonton, and she lives in Indiana. Around February, we both realized we had fallen in love with each other, without ever having met in person. This May, I took a bus down to her house, by myself, to finally meet her. Everything turned out alright for us, and we're still together. Note that she's in her senior year of high school, and I'm done my first year of University, so it's not like we both have our own houses and whatnot.

Anyway, take a chance, it'll probably work out for the better. I mean, what's the alternative? Sit around at home, just talking to him online, and continuing to want him? Screw that.
