Most people freeze when they want to approach someone they like. Instead of using corny pick up lines, approach the person you like by pacing the situation. ie "excuse me I was walking past the bus stop(pace)and i noticed you standing there(pace)
waiting for the bus(pace)and it made me wonder how nice it would be to speak with you(lead) My name is ?
By making three true pacing statements not only do you enter that persons reality, you put them in a trance and they follow your lead when you say how nice it is to talk to them,
let me know about your use of pacing and leading,their are many situations where you can apply these skills.
