Ok I am a lil confused....
There is this guy I really dig. I spend pretty much every night over at his apartment (I am really good friends with his roomies)

Wellll......a friend was over at their house, and announced that she wanted to set him up on a blind date (he had been complaining about not having dates LOL) , and convinced him to buy tickets to an event on campus. Because of the way she was acting (she knows I like him), I had an idea she intended it to be me. Sure enough, after we left, I found out I was the "blind" date.

Now Im feeling kinda worried about it. She's not telling him who his date is, just arranged a place for us to meet. Told him the girl wanted to fix him dinner, and that I could drive, and then we would go to the opera. Afterwards it would be out for ice cream or something cool. It sounds wonderful...

I just dont know if he's going to think its weird when I show up for this date....Im just worried he's going to think I put her up to it or something. I just reaaaaaaaallllly like him and dont want to mess it up. Help! Thanks.

I hope I'm not too late. If I am, how'd it go?

Anyway. I wish one of my friends would do that for me! Just act surprised and play dumb, like you didn't know anything about it. Hmm more like... act like you know as much as he does. ;)

no, don't lie and act like you had no clue. just be honest and say you didn't know until after you left his house and that your friend did it because she knew you liked him and thought he would like you.

and get him flowers, guys like flowers.

LOL it went ok.....

My friend had arranged for us to meet in this one parking lot near our houses....
I arrived and didnt see him there, so I sat on a railing. He came around the corner a minute or so later, and when he saw it was me, he asked me if I was waiting for someone. I said yes, and asked him the same thing. Then I said our friend was a nut (LOL it is true, she is) That made him laugh, and it was all good.

We ended up having a picnic dinner in the campus greenhouse in the jungle room, then off to Carmen, then to ice cream. It was just a nice time. I cant say it was really sparks flying, but more a nice time. I think with him it will take time anyways, since I want to really be his friend. So all is well.

Thanks for the advice.
