ok there is this girl

Now there is this girl that i have been talkin to for a couple of months now....and we have become pretty good friends...now the thing is that she went out with one of my friends already and she broke up with him reacently. So my friend the other night came up to me and told me that he knew that there was sumthing goin on between me and her like us bein close and knowing a lot about eachother..he said that its ok for me to try to get with her and not to worrry about him, he also said that he is behind me 100 percent. But she is still getting over him u kno they went out for four months....and i feel attracted to her....but idk wat i should do...should i tell her or idk do sumthin since she is still liking him....but she thinks he is an asshole for leaving her juss liek that b/c thats wat he did....so idk wat to do i want to tell her but idk wat the best time to tell her would be.....so help me please i need sum advice from girls or anyone who has a good way to do this.....thanks joey jay

Well, if your friend did her wrong and she is still hurt over him, I think the best thing that you could do for her right now is be a friend and be there for her. Let her know that you care for her, and that you know she is hurting. Be there for her to turn to. She will know that you care, she just wont know exactly how much you care for now. Even go as far as taking her out to do something she likes to try and get her mind off things. If she likes you, and you two establish good communication and have fun then I think naturally she will begin to trust and things will improve for her. Then would be the time to tell her that you have these feelings for her. Let me know what you do with this situation and how things go. I wish you luck. :)
