Need some advice

Ok here goes....Hello I am new to this whole website. I came across it lord only knows how. But while reading the descriptions of sections I thought that this might be a good way to figure somethings out. I have an issue with a Friend of mine. (I am female and he is male)

Well He has been sending me emails telling me how much he wants me and how much he would like to be intimate with me. Oh yes before I forget we have been very good friends for five yrs. now. Anyway he tells me all those things during all of his emails for one day then he acts kind of stand offish the next day with his emails. I could send you blurps of his emails and maybe then you would know what I am talking about.

He has told me that he cares about me and that he is just worried that it will ruin our friendship and that is the last thing that he would want to do. But then he will turn right around and ask me if I would like to meet him half way between where he lives and where I live. To spend the weekend together. I don't know half the time if I am coming or goign with him. Do any of you have any suggestions? They would be appreciated.

Maybe your guy friend is giving you mixed signals. Maybe he is just trying to see if you would fall for it and then come running after him if he stops. Just think about it like this....if he really does care about you, then he would absolutely accept your decisions. I don't know whether or not you want to try a love relationship with him, however if you don't then he needs to know. Don't be afraid to let him know how you feel because he'll keep misleading you like this. The only best way it to be straight up with him that's all. I completely know how you feel and I did that...I came up front with my bestfriend and told him the truth. Now we're just real good friends and he totally understands me. So yah...just be straight up front with him.
