Hi,
Ive been doin some thinking and here is what Ive came up..I truly believe the male friend of mine is scared..What I mean is,he don't know anyone here in the States or anyone in the States thats from the same Country as he that knows me..The younger gal he plans to marry goes to Uni with a relative of his so at least he knows someone that knows her..Im not certain if this is what it is or not as I haven't had a chance to talk to him about it..If this is partly the reason,I understand BUT he will never know me unless he takes that step to meet me..

Are you sure that it is not an arranged marriage by his and her families? Maybe he just didn't want to admit to it. You did say that he is from outside of the US? In some countries it is still common for parents to arrange their childrens marriages. :confused:

You know, in some countries they still do things that we don't in the US. Unfortunately, arranged marriages is one, among many other things we won't mention, that are much more severe than that. In fact, these things also used to happen in the US. I'd just be his friend till he decides what to do, after all, that's about all you can do. :wavey:
