Hey guys I am new to these forums, and I am a 17 year old male who lives in Canada, and I thought this forum would be a great place from some advice.
Ok I am going to get right to the problem. There is this girl who lives right across from me, however I dont know her name, dont know if she has a bf, and all I know is that she works at Tim Hortons*coffee and donuts place* , and she goes to a school across town *not mine*. I would really like to get to know her, however I am the shy type, and I have never asked out a girl before. How should I approach her? Should I send her a note from a secret admirer, or is that creepy. Should I go directly to her work and talk to her, or to her house without being too forward, as we have never talked before. I think she has looked at me before and would recognize my face if I approached her, but otherwise she doesnt really know who I am.Thanks in Advance!

Just go up to her at work one day and tell her that you've noticed her and that you'd like to take her out to do something - ask her what she likes to do. What's the worst that can happen? I know it's hard to ask a girl out on a date, but if you don't ask, the answer is always no. Good luck.


p.s. I've asked guys out and I know the nervous gnawing feeling in your stomach, but you have to get over it and just ask her!

This might be stupid.

How late does the place open until? and how big is it? If the place is small and she works in the nite shift, just go there a few times and eventually chat her up.

Depends on how you do it, it might be obvious that you're trying to pick her up. But, nite shift is boring so she wouldn't mind talking to someone other than the co-workers.

alright...i'm a girl about the same age, and this is how to do it.

go to tim hortons for coffee one day or something, and make sure shes serving you. when you see her be like, "hey! you live across from me don't you?" and chit chat for a while...
THEN, if you catch her just chilling at home or whatever, be like "hey i was gonna go get ice cream/coffee....you up for some?"

and there ya go. thats a nice subtle way to just start a friendship with her first. that way, she wont be freaked out by a love letter lol. let me know how it goes!
