Waiter flirts with regular customer?

I work in a pub as a waiter and are interested in a lady who is a regular customer. How can I flirt with her without scaring her away?

Approach her gently. Try commenting that she has a really high sprit that day, or how pretty she looks with her new hair style, whatever.
Do not just invade into her life, as if you are some nerd or psycho. Do it slow and steady. Since she is a regular customer, I am sure you will be able to catch some of her attention by approaching her everytime she arrives. Even a simple "Good Afternoon", would do some trick. Good Luck.
