Alright, I was wondering if this would impress the girls at my college or actually repel them.

So, here's the thought: I've been thinking of playing a marathon 6-hour rendition of the Bach Well Tempered Klavier at my college. I've done it before in my own home, but the effort it requires is enormous and I'm pretty dead at the end.

I would do it on full stage at the main auditorium, on a massive harpsichord they have. My music prof has been nudging me to do it for the longest time.

What do you think, would it impress the girls, or would they just think "what a nut!," or worse, would they just not care at all.

Can success in music match for success in sports in the eyes of the opposite sex?

I have no idea Karb! I think it may impress some, especially those who are into or play music, but I don't think you should do it just for this reason. You don't want to look like a show off.

Very few girls I have known have actually been attracted to athletic guys. I'm not sure if that's just because of where I live but I know for a fact the girls don't find sportsman any more attractive than anyone else - especially when they're so arrogant and up themselves. That is a definite turn off.

In short, I think you're trying a little too hard Karb. I mean, is all this really necessary?!?

A bit of both.
But honestly why need it matter? If you want to do it, then just do it.

Well, it doesn't really, but it's a huge amount of effort and I can always "do it for myself" anyway, so I'm thinking of the possible advantages of doing it, if there are any....

Howabout wearing a huge powdered wig, a brown cape, and shiney buckle shoes as well?

Or would that be too freaky?

I did, my Highschool play were I had to wear a big old wig with lots of make up.. (I was the bad guy) I had like 4 girls asking me for my number and another 3 asking my friends to intro me to them.... something about drama or acting that attracts them...
but anyways, if thats what you love, do it man

I think you will impress the girls that are attracted to such things! This is a good thing! If some think you're a freak because of it, the heck with them. Meg -- smiles Go for it!

ummmm-- Don't do the wig/shoe thing. Dress refined. Allow them to see you.
