Question for both guys and girls. What kind of attire on the opposite sex do you find attractive? Include everything, such as hairpieces, makeup, top piece, bottom piece, accessories, footwear, etc.
What do you find unattractive?
Also, do you prefer that someone spend a lot of time so they "look nice" or those who don't devote a lot of time to these things and just wear "anything", in other words, they don't obsess over matching, fashion, etc.
My preferences?
Hair can be let down or high up....ponytails a no-no, buns are decent and French twists are even nicer......very, very little make up, a blouse, loose, not tight, and high cut with no exposure of cleavage, etc.....usually of a light material such as cotton, silk, linen, etc.......bottom piece, skirt preferred, pants nice too, not buthuggers, full length dress is even better.....no belts unless they are highly ornamental or cultural.....any kind of shoes except high heeled shoes and no boots of any kind.....also prefer girls who spend less than 15 minutes on their attire and who's beauty shines from within....
What do you think?
The most attractive thing a woman can wear is a dress or skirt. Whether I'm old-fashioned or not (probably am), there's nothing sexier than a woman who's dressed like a woman. Just the other day, I saw a woman wearing a knee-length black skirt with a white blouse, and it was one of the best looking things I've seen in a while. So - my advice for the ladies......dress like a lady!

I agree. Dresses and skirts are so attractive and womanly.

I find girls more attractive when they use less makeup and especially eye shadow. I find a girl attractive for how she looks naturally, not how well she can put on make up.

yes, natural is good! i agree, girls don't need makeup.
as for hair, pretty much anything goes, hair up, down, bun, no bun, pony-tails are alright too!
a dress or skirt is nice but i believe that most girls dont need certain clothes, they can radiate all by themselves :)
umm, i tend to get distracted by cleavage personally (sorry to say that i do, but i do =D) however anything is fine as long as not TOO much is showing. as long as they feel comfortable i am happy for them.
nice topic Karbonopsinos!!

For me, I believe a girl has to look casual and proper.. She doesn't have to be the BEST dresser, but she has to look nice and decent when she goes out.. Not like a hood rat, that wears practically nothing when they go out.. I also like a girl who does spend some time looking on what they want to wear.. casualness just turns me on, it just shows alot of class on their part.. (I know it doesn't show their attitude) but if you already know what kind of a person they are it shows.. and for make up, less make up the better.. I mean I don't mind a little here and there, and for the hair a girl has to have beautiful hair in my opinion.. I don't care how they way they wear it.. (excuse my shallowness) but I guess thats what turns me on :D

This reminds me of that question... "Mmm, so what are you wearing?" :p
All-black comes across very cool always, so sexy and sleek. :)
My absolute killer though, is a black jacket (leather or just a blazer), a white t-shirt, and faded blue jeans. Boots or whatever below that, doesn't really matter at that point ;).
Yum. :)

Well, i finally know what to wear to impress the guys:p
As for what i like guys dressed in..... something classy but with a bit of modern edge. Jeans and a nice sweater or a casual shirt, khakis, leather jacket, sports attire, even a nice suit.... but nothing beats jeans and a tighter white t-shirt though!!!
Nice shoes are a must, no beat-up smelly sneakers or holey shoes. Cant stand guys in socks and sandals, whoever made up that trend needs to be shot.
Basically, as long as a guy feels comfortable with what he wears, it can be sexy to most women.... just make sure your socks match!

Sandals are more COMFORTABLE that way, damnit! :D

Girls can get psychotic about some clothes combinations. I know of one girl who said she would hate a guy who wore cowboy boots, even if it were Clooney.
Another girl said that sneakers are OK with polo shirts, but she hates them when they're with button-downs (she hates them to pieces, as a matter of fact), and only shoes will do in that scenario.
A bit quirky, these girls, methinks.

Hair should be neck-length. I just LOOOOVE girls with short hair. As for their apparel, anything will do, preferbly a skirt and blouse. And finally, contrary to popular beliefs, I think girls should be lighter on the make-up. Please, realize that when you are with close friends (be it guy or girl), they are attracted not to your ulterior self but with what's deep down inside. The latter part can never be disguised successfully behind a curtain of make-up and I think that makes it all the more important.
So next time, dress casually and be light on all the face ornaments. You'll get out of the house much faster :)

What do I think is sexy on a guy? Blue jeans(no holes, not too big and not too tight), t-shirt, or sweater, or sweatshirt, tennis shoes with socks, and for his hair to be neatly combed and short. That is my favorite outfit a guy could wear. :wavey:

Strange...I fulfill that image. I had the view that women preferred something along the lines of checkered button down, jeans and belt, and leather shoes or boots. Guess I was wrong. :D
And in the same way, I guess my preference for little skin showing on a woman (and nothing tight or see-through) is also against the norm. ;)

No my friend, you're looking at someone who agrees with you. I don't mind oggling at stars with their skimpy outfits but when I am with a real, breathing person, I tend to see for their personalities, attitude, etcetera. Maybe the emotional detachment conveyed by the television causes the body of a star to be more appealing but when faced with a female I know, the human brain has a general preference towards making that salient mental contact.
