but i dont care... okay, anywho, i like mike. a ton, a ton and a ton plus a ton times five. and he doesn't like me much, or at least that's how it seems to me, while others think he's liking me. i really dont care, i just want to know what to do when he gets back from his europe trip and i get back from mine... he works at the arcade, and that's where i'd see him... i duno if i should get him a welcome back gift or something, i know he got me a gift, a book infact (major happiness!), from europe so i'd feel bad if i didn't. i'm flippin clueless when it comes to this stuff... but another thing i have to ask is why my friend is so stupid... she's only fourteen and has had sex with many a men, but two nights ago she finally got caught, in a sense, with a TWENTY ONE YEAR OLD, along with my best friend, caitlin, who's also fourteen. both guys where twenty-one, and i really doubt if ariana-hoe wasn't there, then caitlin would still be a happy little virgin. i dont understand what's driving her to be a pot head/ slut and i'd really like to help but everytime i try to have a mature discussion with her she'll yell at me, saying i dont understand, i wouldn't know, and a load of other crap. she's getting annoying with her immaturity and i can't stand it so much that i left town (she lives with my family)... so, now that i'm done complaining with a disguise of explaining, any ideas on how to help my friend?:confused:

I can certainly understand your frustration - 64 views and no responses (actually, when I looked it was 72 views and no responses!)

But people may be kind of scared of the situation. You're 15, your friends are 14, and they're having sex with guys 21 years old. In most states, those guys would be considered child molesters and would go to prison (not jail, PRISON).

This is pretty heavy stuff.

We all know that our sex drives are pretty strong as we come into our teens, but that doesn't give the right to adults to take advantage of people's sex drives, you know? Teens should explore this stuff with other teens. Older guys who prey on teens are just sick perverts.

I know it makes Caitlin feel cool that older guys are interested in her, but while it's normal for her, it's sick for them. Can you see what I mean? She's being normal (hey, we all like to be lusted after!) but old guys like that are being sick. Why aren't they dating women in their own age area, you know? Are they scared of real relationships? Why would they rather be exploiting girls who are just developing their sexuality? Those guys are total creeps!

As to your own situation, as to Mike - what are you afraid of? It sounds like he really likes you, and you OBVIOUSLY like him. Go for it! OK, so maybe you can't really get him a souvenir like he got you, but trust me, HE LIKES YOU. Just be yourself, be honest about your appreciation for his gift, and spend some happy time with him. What more did you want, anyway? And, in reality, what more did HE want? He just wanted to make you happy - and you're happy he's back! Sounds like a winning combo to me! Just enjoy each other's company!
