Alright about a year ago I hooked up with guy at a party who I knew only a little about. Anyway after we hooked up I told him that he was moving a little too fast, to which he replied that he strictly just wanted a "friends with benefits type deal." I didn't want this type of relationship and I thought the guy was an idiot for suggesting something like that, so I backed off. I didn't say anything mean to him I just didn't really make an effort after that. Well he still continued to flirt with me at school. I figured he'd just ignore me after the incident, but it almost seemed as though he liked me even more.
Well we both left for college shortly after, and now that we're both back in town I of course see him. He works at a local country club, and when I see him he is almost always looking at me. He has spoken to me; asking little things about school, etc. I mean I heard this guy has a steady girlfriend whom he met in college and is supposedly still with her. It's really flattering when he stares at me since he's pretty obvious about it, but I just don't understand what's with him. I mean, it just seems weird that he'd even talk to me in the first place after what happened last year.
I would never get back with him because he has a girlfriend at school and he was a jerk, but I just don't understand what's up with him. Is it possible that he actually really likes me? Maybe he just thinks I'll get with him again?
