How did your boyfriend/DH first tell you he loved you?

The first time J.D. said he loved me *sorta* was when:

We were sitting in the front of his car, up on this BIG hill, just talking, I was 14, and he was 18, *we had been dating for almost 7 months* and I asked him what he honestly felt about me, where we were at in the relationship. He sorta looked at me, leaned over, kissed me, and was like,
"Well, I don't know about you, but I'm falling madly in love with this brown haired, green eyed, sweet, young lady who has this...spark..... laying within her eyes, and fire in her heart, that I hope she never loses, because it gives her this....unbearably, irresistable beauty that I have a hell of a time resisting, what do you feel Tammy? What am I to you?"
I just started crying so hard I couldn't stop! I was like "I love you J.D., I've loved you since the day I saw you, I'll never not love you, I'd die without you."

For a while after that, I was always the first one to say "I Love You" and he'd say it back. About 2 months later, I found out I was pregnant, and he's like "OhMy, I Love You Tammy, You Are My World, I Love You" and just hugged me for like 20mins.

We were on the phone and we were talking about us and i was trying to get him to come and spend the night with me and he just came out and said i love you and i was stuck and the firt thing i said was if you love me you'll be here with me. and a little while later my baby was right there with me.

The very first time we ever spoke to eachother I knew, he knew, ANd her said I know this sounds weird and I t might scare you but I never take chances and I dont want to let someone like you get away and her just told me that her loved me. My heart sank to my feet! I couldent breath, then he said I am in love with you at this very moment and I dont even know you that well but I know I want to spend the rest of my life with you. WEll, we have been together ever since.

wow that's great the last guy that loved me told me while we were on the phone. he was up in wis at the time and we'd been doing the good bye *silance* bye thing. Well we normaly said love ya you know befor we hung up but this time he said i love you morgan bye. i didn't even realise he'd said it till after i'd hung up.

well 2 reasons first the stupid one, i'v been known as the girl who can't keep a boyfriend for more then a month and we're almost at 2 months so i want it to last a bit longer and now the real reason i'm in love with him

The guy I'm with now... first time he said the L word...
We went to happy hour and got really drunk, we went back to his place. He looked at me with the sweetest look on his face, his blue eyes looked happy and he said "I love you".
I told him that I'd give him a chance to take that back or re-say it in the morning. I wanted to make sure that he meant it, and it wasn't the alcohol talking.
He then ran to the bathroom and threw up for about a half hour.

So that was the first time he said it- how romantic- huh?

When we woke up in the morning he said it again, I told him I love him too. That was almost a year ago, we're still together and very happy.

Well the first time my b/f said that I was rather cold to him...

He told me that he loved me and I said " You don't love me ! You haven't even known me for a month, if you still feel that way later in this relationship we can talk about it then."

of course I have to add that at the time I thought of him as 'Mr. Right Now' ...

that was almost 4 yrs. ago now and we are still very hapily together and say 'I love you' to eachother every day!:D

My sweetie said it actually in conversation the first time, we were discussing this mutual interest we have and he just blurted out "Damn I loves ya babe!"
I just sat there for a good minute and didn't say a word, I was sort of stunned I guess :)
Instead of saying it all the time, we tell eachother how much we love them when we really really need it...it's pretty special to both of us...

well...he knew that I was a huge fan of les miserables, the musical, and that my favorite line EVER from that is as follows:

"Take my hand and lead me to salvation
Take my love, for love is everlasting
And remember the truth that once was spoken
To love another person is to see the face of God."

so he sang that to me (he had...no he still does even though we broke up...a beautiful voice) and then he took my hand and said "every time I see you I must see the face of God...I love you."

and then I melted. :p
