As you slowly pass away,
You whisper to you soul, to go,
While your family and friends silently pray,
Your breath fades, and some screams, "NO"

So let us pray, and make no noise,
On angel wings you are sent to your journey towards the light
Your time has pass, God gave us no choise
After that, mourning brought us no sleep at night.

I recall the times i lied in your cradle
You embraced me and caressed my feets
And told me that wonderful fable
You sang and rocked me to sleep

But now perhaps you've found peace,
Even thou your gone! you remain in our heart
Our sorrow will never cease
I want you back! i never wanted to part

God what have you brought us, Scorn?
Well it's not joy and happiness
IT IS OUR HEARTS YOU HAVE TORN!
Despite our pain sadness

We always knew how it was, your were so very ill
God will now guide you through this endeavour
Couse there is a place in heaven for you to fill
Remember that we will love you for now, and forever

I forgot to say what i ment with that poem,
My grandmother died yesterday
on june 17th 22:46,CET
I was so sad i ran into my room and sat down and wrote this poem

I am so sorry to hear about your grandmother, it is very hard to lose a loved one I lost my grandfather when I was 2 my grandmother when I was 13 and my dad most recently at the end of this past April. There are no real words of comfort at a time like this. So I'll just wish you the best of luck.:(

I'm sorry to hear about your grandmother.. Its very hard for some to be able to write down their feelings on paper especially when writing it from personal experiences. Your poem brought tears to my eyes. I thought it was very good.
