Sitting here
Hoping and wishing
Watching the days turn into nights.
Watching the sun turn into the moon, watching the stars illuminated in its light.
Waiting for one to fall so that I can catch it in my hand.
I'll watch it twinkle and shine.
I see the stars in the sky and realize that they have no concept of time.
They dont sit watching the hours and counting the minutes.
Their world isnt made up of schedules, but a pure timeless innocense.
They exist out of God's pure imagination.
A part of God can be seen in the night sky.
Timeless, wonderous, like an unknown destination.
Stars shine because that is their nature.
Sometimes I think we have lost ourselves.
Somewhere, somewhere way out there.
But its not to late to get it back.
Just look at the spiritual innocense, the beauty and timeless wonder of a star.
And you will remember who we really are.
