Missing You

A million times we've
needed you, a million
times we've cried.

If love alone could have
saved you, you never
would have died.

In life we loved you dearly
In death we love you still
For in our hearts you
hold a place, no one
could ever fill.

It broke our hearts
to lose you, but you
didn't go alone
For a part of us went with you
The day God took you home

See you someday Dad!

I would like to dedicate this poem I wrote to my Dad who passed away suddenly (recently), he was a major part of my life and still is I (along with my 4 sisters) will miss him dearly. Heres to you Dad. :bawling:

sorry. I don't know what to say to comfort you and i know no words can do that. I will pray for strength for you and family. Remember, your dad is always near you. Memories keep the one we loved close to us in spirit and thought and always in our heart, today and forever.

Your poem was very moving..I am sorry about the loss of your dad.
My dad died in '92 but I also ended up loosing my youngest son,then myhusband and a nephew...Among others...It's hard to find words to comfort someone whose going through such losses but I want you to
know that others care and can share in your loss...Hold on to the good
memories and keep them alive in your heart always,for that is where
they will always be with us..in our hearts...
