I planned a trip to Oz

Ride upon the magic carpet
Drink nectar of the vine

A grasp of make believe, undefined
Celtic pipers in castle grandeur
A cowgirl of the west
For all the wonders to discover
Destiny defined in nursery rhymes

Thinkable, all things possible

To climb the highest crest
Searching underneath the clover
My leprechaun elf's surprise
To see me smiling down at him
The gallant, clever lover
To woo him with my eyes

Plucking dogwood as we pass by
