A million thoughts run through my mind
As I look into your eyes.
What are you thinking about?
Are you thinking of me?
Or is there another girl who has stolen your heart?
Could that girl be me?

I dream about you
when we are not together
In my dreams you and I are the
perfect couple that everyone
wants to be like.
Do you think about me?

You look deep into my eyes
And I wonder:
Can you see my thoughts?
Do you know how I feel?
Do you feel the same way?
Could you ever love me?
I have to know the answers
to my questions.

I gather up all my courage
And walk up to you
The words flow out of my mouth
"Will you go out with me?"
A smile spreads across your face
As we walk away hand in hand. :D

I wrote this poem because this is how I always wanted things to happen that I would get up the courage to ask a guy out and he would say yes. I have asked a guy out before but he turned my down and I have never done it again. :bawling:

Hi Dark Angel,

There are many things in our life which don't always turn out the way we want them to be but that's the way life is and this is also how we learn and become stronger.

It's nice of you to have the courage to ask the person you like for a date. Not many of us do the same and we usually regret it when we look to the past and think of the opportunities we have missed. Go, seize the day and live each day like it's your last. The point is you have go for what you want and take action to do it. Even if it don't turn out successfully, it's ok, cos at least you tried.

Don't let the incident hold you down. I believe things something happen for a reason. God works in mysterious ways. Believe me, you will find someone much better for you. Don't blame that guy too cos his fate is not with you. But don't wait for fate to find you. It may never will if you are always passive. You need to take action and magic will works its way.

Nice poem...but...you asked ONCE and gave up? I've asked people out heaps of times....sometimes they've turned me down and sometimes it has lead to something beautiful.
The fisherman with his line in the water MIGHT catch a fish...but the one with his line still on the boat won't.:)
I guess I'm saying believe in yourself and don't be afraid to take a risk....I'm sure when you're old and grey you'll remember with a smile all those times you picked up the phone with your pulse racing and called someone you really liked....regardless of the outcome.
