Although I rarely see you
I think of you all day,
And when it is I see you
I forget all I had to say.

I want you to know
How I really feel,
But when I am around you
I no longer act real.

And I really want to be your
Friend
And see you through and
Through,
But I don't know what to say,
How to act or what to do.

But even though we both have
problems
And troubles of our own,
I believe that us together,
We'll never be alone.

Believe it or not you really do
Help my by leaps and bounds,
And if it was not for you
I'd probl'y not be around.

So even though love is scarce
And rarely ever true,
But I really mean it
When I say "I love you"

I have a suggestion for the second last line

Do you think it will sound more sincere and flow better if it is

When I say "I love you"

Cos the word "I think" make is sound like you are not so sure of your feeling.
