sometime i wondered why ,
why you would never saw her cry
when all she did was lie there
sreaming "this just isn't fair"

you'd see her every day
but let all you feeling fall away
she was always in her room
as you let her life turn into doom

one day a guy stopped over
when you were out of sight
and gave her a 4 leave clover
you should have saw her face...so pink so bright

maybe once i was her beautiful smile
but just for a short while
that night you let her stay out
not once did i see her pout

did you ever meet her boyfriend
he was there for her till the very end
he mad her laugh ... he was funny
he bought her some clothes....he shared his money

did you ever give her a gift
maybe just to get her spirits to lift
did you notice something was wrong

i never thought things like this came true

she was a great girl
a diamond and shiny pearl

she begged for your attention
was that something i forgot to mention
she use to wait up all night
wait for you to get home from that flight

i remember her asking you to stay
