by the way: she is very controlling of everything (especially conversations and so often has to have the last word. Most of the the time i just let her)

Very controlling? Yeah, that sounds accurate from what you said before about her.

I think the letter is certainly on the right track, but it's likely to have the effect of getting your ring back rather than getting the woman back (and believe me, you would be better off without her).
